JIM BEAM "DEVIL DOGS" BULLDOG DECANTER USMC MARINE CORPS--REGAL CHINA
Whisky Decanter
Courtesy of the Red Dog (RD Mason) Fire Marshal of The National Park Service- San Francisco Region.
This very sharp looking bulldog is wearing a Marine green sweater with khaki lapels coming over the neckline. He is also wearing a helmet with "Devil Dogs" written across the front. According to Marine folklore, the name "Devil Dogs" was given to the Marines by the Germans, as the result of fierce fighting in 1918 by the Marines in France's Belleau Wood.
He is wearing a yellow/brown helmet with gold printing across the front DEVIL DOGS. The base has the appearance of a drum in black and gold.
